At the orientation phase of the project, project goals are set forth. Project vision, timeline, and finances are also accepted. A project team is also established, and everyone is brought up to date on the project. |
The second stage in the design sequence is very important as it involves listening to specific needs of the group and individualls involved. Kodet Architectural Group will set up meetings and formulate questionnaires to gain insight into the priorities and space requirements of our clients.
The brainstorming stage evolves from the listening stage in that the ideas and needs gathered in the second stage are summarized in order to generate preliminary design solutions.
Once the needs are summarized, three design schemes are presented and discussed. Initial cost estimates are also developed at this stage.
Once feedback is obtained on the three design schemes presented in the outline stage, the schemes can be further developed into one comprehensive design scheme.
During the summary stage, the final program report is prepared, in order to ensure that all the space needs and desires are met before the construction documents are started.
| Construction documents are developed with mechanical, electrical, and strucutural consultants during this phase. A final construction schedule, along with a preliminary pricing review is also developed and conducted. |
| The project is sent out for bid during this phase. Contractors set out to review the work to be completed, and a clear direction and schedule is set to meet deadlines. Kodet Architectural Group will work closely with the contractors, providing clear direction for site interpretations and changes that may arise during the construction phase. |
