| A rapidly growing congregation located in an expanding suburban community provided St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church the initiative to add a new worship space to their existing facility. Kodet Architectural Group designed a 15,000 square foot addition for the worship space with seating for over 900 and an adjacent chapel and gathering space for over flow. The new expansion, intended to facilitate the increasingly dynamic community, features a worship space with seating in the round, folded plate (intricately detailed) ceiling and a translucent curtail wall for views both in and out of the space. The original worship space is now used as a multi-purpose space. | |
