St. Croix Preparatory Academy recently finished a 58-acre educational campus near Stillwater. Designed by Kodet Architectural Group the new 90,000-square-foot school opened in September 2009, for the first day of school, and serves up to 1,000 students in Kindergarten through 12th grades, as well as the community at-large.

Chartered in 2004, St. Croix Preparatory Academy was the first independent public school in the eastern Twin Cities suburban area specifically dedicated to offering a classical liberal arts curriculum with an emphasis on development of each student’s personal character and leadership qualities.

Sited on 58 acres of green space with lots of trees and rolling hills, the large tract gives the school the opportunity to offer athletics to its students for the first time. St. Croix Prep plans to incorporate these natural surroundings into its science curriculum.
