| Kodet Architectural Group, Ltd. faced a major challenge with this small tenant space that was located in the Conservatory in Minneapolis. The newsstand provided display and inventory storage space for over 400 different periodicals. Paneled windows both displayed the magazines and provided storage backing, which blended efficiency with beauty. Shoppers could view magazines and newspapers as they passed by the store. The custom-made cabinetwork, a dark mahogany, and the plum colored carpeting were reminiscent of traditional libraries. A ladder on a track was used to access magazines on the top shelves. |
